Charcoal color is spot-on and fabric seems quite durable. This is a nice alternative to the ocean of brown and beige furniture that dominates most stores. Cushions are comfortable and have Velcro attachments to keep them from sliding around. A few things to be aware of: 1) The sofa was ordered on June 30th and wasn’t delivered until July 22nd. I don’t know if this is typical, but I wanted to put it out there. 2) You have to screw in the feet and they’re made of plastic (you can’t tell after they’re installed). Aside from that, I highly recommend to anyone looking for a stylish and affordable couch.Pros: Attractive color, excellent value, comfortable cushions, modern designCons: Wait time, plastic feet

I have only had this for 3 weeks, and no one has slept on it, yet. But I will speak to the features I am already familiar with, and I’ll update later if anything needs to be edited.First, it feels somewhat like a bed when you sit on it, but I really like the bouncy effect. This may bother some consumers, as it’s a tad different from your normal sofa feel. The blue color is really beautiful — not too rich not too muted.Putting it together was a chore, as I did it solo, and it was more awkwardclumsy that difficult.I ran into one snag that may help others: when trying to slide the seat back onto the frame, each side has a metal sleeve that slides onto metal arms on the base, and you will HEAR it latchlock in place. One arm wasn’t doing this, and I tried brute force unsuccessfully. I finally realized that there was a bolt inside that metal sleeve that wasn’t fully screwed in — that part was factory assembled, so I wasn’t initially aware that it was there. But when something was clearly obstructing the path of the arm sliding into the sleeve, I felt around inside the sleeve and could feel the bolt slightly protruding. I simply tightened it with the allen wrench (or hex key) that came with the product. It then latched into place like the other arm had done on the first try. For a while there I was fearing a defect and would have to return it, but I’m glad I slowed down and used my brain instead of brawn! The back fabric panel isn’t quite lining up with the velcro connection points, so I need to tweak that, as well. Most people will put the back of it facing a wall, I imagine. But my space is small, and I have to be creative about placement. So I may have to make some minor adjustments to get it to secure smoothly. It isn’t the most sturdyhardy of furniture pieces, so please don’t expect it to feel like you paid $1200 for it. But it’s very functional, very pleasant to look at, and it won’t swallow a smaller space like my old sofa.Incidentally, I bought this because the frame of my existing sofa, although in perfect functional condition, is upholstered in faux leather that my cats had destroyed inside of 8 months. So I hope the linen on this piece will be more forgiving, if only by not being as noticeable so soon. The old sofa has white batting coming out of the clawed places on a deep chocolate covering…such an eyesore. (So I covered the frame with a slipcover and am donating it to a needy soul who’ll give it a good home.)
